Privacy
Short version: we store what you type in so the app works, we never sell it, and there is no real money anywhere in the system.
What we collect
- Grownup account: email address, and your name if you sign in with Google.
- Family data you enter: family name, kids' first names or nicknames, avatars, allowance and chore settings, pretend transactions and pretend holdings.
- Technical basics needed to run the service, such as sign-in tokens and error logs.
What we do not collect
- No bank, card or brokerage accounts. There is nothing to connect.
- No kid email addresses or passwords. Kids sign in with a link or a family PIN.
- No advertising trackers.
Children
KidPlayMoney is designed for parents to set up and supervise. Kid profiles are created by a grownup and contain only what that grownup enters. We recommend using first names or nicknames. If you would like a kid's data removed, delete the kid in Settings or email us.
Where data lives
Data is stored with Google Firebase and served through Vercel. Both are hosted in the United States.
Deleting your account
Delete kids from Settings at any time. To delete your whole family and account, email hello@kidplaymoney.com and we will remove it.
